The Perch, Oxford

Joel + APril

The Freud was host to Joel and April’s Oxfordshire wedding Ceremony. If you’ve not seen The Freud Bar before, you really need to check it out. It’s one of those venues as a wedding photographer you walk into and you’re instantly excited to photograph! Not to mention Joel and April both looked incredible. This was always going to be a great day.

After the ceremony concluded at the Freud Bar, the guests made their way to The Perch for the evening celebrations and I headed off with the couple as their transport was waiting to make their grand entrance.

Just around the corner from Freud Bar was jumped onto a beautiful vintage canal boat and slowly made our way along the river to meet the eagerly awaiting guests. We took this opportunity to take a few photos of Joel and April as they took in the surroundings.

As we arrived at The Perch, the guests were waiting on the dock to cheer the couple in. The Perch in Oxford is the most perfect location for a relaxed wedding reception, with an elegant marquee and rustic table setting.

As the summer sun began to drop in the sky we took the opportunity to capture a few photos along the river bank. This is one wedding that is going straight up there as one of my favourite days.
