Celeste and James celebrated their wedding at Château Lacanaud, a beautiful countryside château in the Dordogne region of southwest France.
Surrounded by their closest friends and family, the day had everything I love about destination weddings — everyone together in one place, a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of time to actually enjoy the celebration.
I photographed the day naturally as it unfolded, focusing on the people, atmosphere and moments in between, alongside relaxed portraits that made the most of the château and surrounding French countryside.

One of the things I love about photographing destination weddings like this is having everyone together in one place. It gives the day a completely different pace, with more time for people to relax, celebrate and enjoy being together.
Château Lacanaud offers plenty of variety for photographs without needing to disappear from the celebrations for long, from the château itself to the surrounding gardens and French countryside.
