Hackney Town Hall is one of my favourite London venues for couples looking for a relaxed, stylish city wedding. Its beautiful Art Deco interiors, grand marble staircase and central London location make it an incredible backdrop for documentary wedding photography, while the surrounding streets provide plenty of opportunities for natural portraits just moments after the ceremony.
Sarah and Guy chose to celebrate with an intimate ceremony at Hackney Town Hall before heading to The Royal Park Inn for a relaxed reception with family and friends. It was the perfect combination of elegant London architecture and the warm, laid-back atmosphere of a traditional pub wedding.

Hackney has a brilliant atmosphere that feels distinctly London without being overwhelming. Whether couples are celebrating with drinks nearby or heading to one of the area's restaurants or pubs afterwards, everything feels close together, allowing the day to flow naturally while I quietly document it as it happens.
